Umina Beach Public School (Ages 5-12)

Whilst in our care at Hunter Kids Umina Beach the children’s health, wellbeing and safety are of utmost importance. We are committed to providing a caring, safe and inclusive environment and aim to achieve this by maintaining healthy eating practices, food safety, cleanliness, infection control, hygiene and monitoring risks and safety practices. These are all promoted and implemented within the centre with high quality standards.

Our Philosophy

To engage their growing curiosity

At Hunter Kids Umina Beach, we are guided by the My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care. Our Educators observe each child as an individual, recognise that children have rights and how important it is for each child to develop a sense of self and to enable the children to retain a strong sense of identity and they remain happy, engaged and relaxed through their play.

We hope all children in our care become confident, involved learners and effective communicators.

Hunter Kids Umina Beach encourages children to enjoy the school environment in a social play and friendly environment.
This also helps children to feel connected and able to contribute to the world around them and encourage a sense of diversity and fairness. Children engaging in activities creates resilience, friendship, kindness and positive interactions the enable children to find their unique path and direction in their individual jourmey.
