Founder and Director

My passion for the child care industry began after studying a Diploma of Community Services and working in Special Education. In 2020, after successfully operating a number of Sherpa Kids services, I received news that the Australian franchise would cease. I knew it was time to create my own brand, and Hunter Kids was established.

Hunter Kids was designed to provide a safe environment for children to feel secure, supported and recognised and to always represent my desire to support families and children in need. I believe the key to a successful service is to create opportunities for all children to be leaders, to allow them the space to build friendships and encourage community involvement.

Claire Bannon
HR and Accounts Manager

I began my journey with Hunter Kids in 2021. My role commenced as Executive Assistant and progressed into Human Resources , Payroll and Account Management. I am responsible for assisting families with accounts and working with the Educators for compliance and certification in the workplace while following all Laws and Regulations. I engage weekly with Educators to complete all payroll.

When I am not at work, I have my hands full with your three year old toddler and a new baby. I enjoy time away with my family relaxing and enjoying the beach.
